Dr. Shibutani is a Board Certified Urologist who has been practicing in the Philadelphia area since 1987.

Dr. Yan Shibutani received his undergraduate degree from University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University.  He completed Internship and Residency in Urology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA.  He was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor of Urology at Temple University School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA, and previously an instructor in Urology at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Shibutani is a member of the following societies:

• Pennsylvania Medical Society
• Philadelphia Urological Society

Dr. Shibutani practices general urology with special interests in all forms of kidney stone management and laser prostate surgery.
